I can never get a clear answer on that one. At my school they refer to me as "Native Speaker" or "Guest English Speaker" (lately). I don't really care which but I prefer to be called something with the word "teacher" at the end because I think the refusal by Koreans to refer to us as teachers takes us down a peg and disrespects us, especially in front of students who put a lot of emphasis on the teacher vs. instructor title.

What are you called and what would you like to be called?

What is our official title these days?

As a side note, I think anything with the word "guest" in it is stupid. I mean, most of us stay here for at least a year so we're not really "guests".
