So, I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a place for me to get a vaccine for the pig pox in Busan and how much it would run me. My regular doctor said they only give it out to people who are already sick (which defeats the purpose of vaccination, but whatever) so I want to see if there are any exceptions or is perhaps my embassy would give them out (I'm a U.S. Citizen).

I wasn't concerned about this for a long time, but about a quarter of my school is calling in sick right now and it's a tad unsettling. Perhaps it's all hypochondria, but still. Plus, I bet the parents will find some way of pinning this on me, so having the vac record would be nice.

You might want to call the Korean Medical hotline at 1339. Include your local area code before that number if calling from out of Seoul (i.e. Busan).

They have English speakers available 24 hours a day, apparently.
