Does anyone know whether I can buy vista online from Microsoft and then download here in Korea. I know that I need a foreign card to make the purchase but will Microsoft stop me from downloading here in Korea?

Be careful because Microsoft's website might autodetect your location and just assume you want the Korean version.
The best way to do it is download the RTM version of windows7. It is free.
YOu can buy the "Upgrade" Windows 7 copy and update the CD Key from the RTM to the upgrade Windows 7. |

Hi, Thanks for your reply.
Would I be able to do that and just use the product key from the upgrade version? I wouldn't have to buy the full version? |
