I'm looking for some comfy, minimalist shoes in my size, and that is proving very difficult. I'd like to buy some Vibram Fivefingers, Sanuk boots, or maybe some Nike Frees, but everywhere I go they don't carry my size. I've been told ABC Mart may have my size, and I've looked on gmarket and ebay, but a $40 pair of shoes in America is running over W100,000 on gmarket, and with shipping and waiting, it'll cost about $70 on ebay. I primarily need some warm shoes for winter, so the sanuk boots are my focus right now, but I'm open to suggestions.

And I apologize for what I am sure is a duplicated post (I even posted something similar before) but as usual the search function is lacking, and even doing a google search resulted in nothing. |

				| I refuse to. Doing so when I first came here has resulted in plantar's fasciitis. I am wiling to pay a hundred dollars or so for comfy, good shoes, but I'd rather pay what they're worth, which is far less than that. |

I agree....I stopped long ago trying to find shit in Korea. You can usually buy things online in the US for a good enough price that it pays for the shipping, especially with all the deals going on now with the recession.

Even if you aren't from the US you've got to have a friend there. Order the stuff to their house (80% of web-sites offer free domestic shipping) and then they can send it on. This is a better method as orders shipped directly from the business tend to get stopped and taxed more often. |

Great suggestion, thanks. I have found a pair or two in my size that is at the reasonable price of W50,000.

Xuanzang, I did use ebay and I didn't find the size or price I wanted.

air76, paying $40-50 for a pair of shoes, then paying for S&H to Korea (and taxes?), and the wait, is definitely not worth it. I'd much sooner pay twice the price in order to receive the shoes in a few days. |
