Okay it's a small thing, but it's the MANNER she talked ot me that gets my goat and that she thinks that;s purely acceptable behaviour between two adults (of course I'm not an adult to her I guess, being an outside person)

Korean teacher put my shoes outside the door, actually ourtdoors instead of just in the corridor. They are perfectly clean and near new.

Afterwards I told her they are 200,000 Won shoes (well 190,000) and I'd appreciate them not being put out in the elements.

Her reply

'No they are not 200,000 won shoes.' - stated as fact

Me - 'Yes, they are.'

Her - (shaking head and waving hand dismissingly, nose turned up) No, no I don't think so

Me - yes.

Her - where did you buy them

Me- Kumgang store in Seoul, they are Clarke's

Her - laughed and walked away

These [Mod Edit] people piss me off so much sometimes

For that kind of dough, they should have come with their own velvet tote bag --or pillow to set them on.

No, the Clarke's Originals Wallabees. They're about 70 quid back home (140,000 won aprox) but cost close to 200,000 Won here. I don't wear anything else, so my yearly shhoe bill is about 600,000 ha ha. But you can get decent copies of them Korean made from ABC Mart.

I haven't wore Clark's since primary school when they were the only things my mum would buy. I advanced to Cica after that.

On a similar note I was handing out some plain paper for a writing exercise (because nobody thinks it's important to bring a notebook to class) and the Korean teacher grabbed them off me and said "Give me those, I can do it better than you" I mean WTF you can hand out paper better than me? Hoo bleepin ray.

Eye for an eye. When it is raining, put her shoes outside. Or better yet, when no one is looking take her shoes and throw them out in the middle of the street or plpayground.

If she questions you, just say, "I don't know. Maybe some students were messing around."

yes, she does sound like a jerk. However, why did you need to tell her they were 200,000 in your opening statement with her. Why not just say, "Please don't put my shoes outside"?

I love Clarkes......I'm wearing a pair right now........2 years and counting, they're starting to break-up now though. 90,000. Super-comfortable.

If anyone knows a good Clarkes outlet in Seoul area, let me know.

Alll the big stores have em. You pay way too much though. Prob cheaper to get your mum or dad to buy em back home in the sale and mail em to you.

Yeah Clarkes are great. Well, I only really like the Wallabees and the desert boots and the gum soles do go dirty very quiclkly, but the leather is so soft yet durable, like good glove leather, yes they're like gloves for the feet.

I'm ignoring Triban as I initiated the chase and don;t want him to think I'm easy to get now it's time for him to show some initiative.

I hate that kind of attitude.

She's low class. Ignore her.

Some people are just like that. She's already stupid because she irked you. And what good does it do her? She's essentially made you an enemy.

Don't do her any favors.
