I have different opinions from others here:
First of all, I think there is a reason she put your shoes outside, maybe it is a school rule? How didn't you even ask her why she did so?
Instead you threw this directly on her : its worth 200,000 won.
Its pretty silly to ask people stop doing something by telling them how rich you are or how expensive your things are.
You probably didn't mean to show off, but it was easily get mis-interpretted and felt obnoxious. In a word, you asked for this unfriendly conversation.
Her response was not smart and polite but understandable.
Conversation is ART, should people who are not well-treated check themselves often.

Clark's... the ONLY shoes we were allowed to wear at school. Boarding schools are so pretentious.
Anyway, I hate Clark's. Uncomfortable as hell and style-less.

You will find yourself taking that back if you go to their website and check out the 'Originals' line.
Wallabees are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and most wallabee wearers won't ever bother wearing anything else. |
