For those who dislike the Korean ID system, an RTS appears to be coming back from the dead for a group test (maybe they mean stress test) for the next 10 days. No Korean ID required for the sign-up.

It is called TK online. Non-starcraft RTS are rare in Korea, so if you'd like to see this oddity, you can follow the sign-up instructions on my site. The test begins tomorrow night and runs for 10 days. |

Game is out. I updated the thread title. Not an RTS, more of a Dungeon Siege/Diablo type game. But not as deep. Its online multiplayer, deathmatch kind of style. Very interesting.
Good news is the game is completely in English. Very good English at that. Other than a couple error messages and of course the korean players chatting, everything is in English. Tutorial, options, menus, item descriptions, etc.
Anyone who wants to relax with a low ping English game, try it out. |

Have you tried Eberron Unlimited by D&D. I've been playing it an it's been really fun, FREE, and working in Korea (unlike Perfect World).
Google it. |

I haven't tried it but I know about it. Perfect World is in Korea. It is called Wanmi and it runs on the Netmarble site.
If you can get a Korean to make an account for you as Netmarble doesn't generally allow foreign sign-up (unless they've changed it since I wrote this)

The game is at: http://game4.netmarble.net/wanmi/
You can also play perfect world multi-language from Europe instead of the American one. It is in English. It came out shortly after the US version because the US guys running it were being [modedits]. I had been playing the US version up to about level 10, and I sent them an email (not from my account email) and said what I was supposed to do. It was impossible to play the Korean version because I can't sign up for it and the US version was only allowing North American players. They replied with some BS marketing speech and then I suddenly found I couldn't log-in.
Around that time though I'd read a lot of forum and blog posts about the guys running it being tools though. So the european one might be better if you're interested in it. Those guys seemed nice, I played it for a bit, but the ping was a bit high for my liking. Might be better now. Its hard to beat the 10 ms ping of playing on the Korean version. |

Just a couple days left. Go try the game out! This is more or less a DotA clone. I never played DotA, but from what people tell me, and what I've read that's the story. |
