I never saw it in Korea and my girlfriend had never heard of it until she came to America. She drinks it religiously here. Maybe someone else can give a better answer, but I have never seen it there.

There's a place near Gangnam station that sells it. Walk out of exit 3, a little bit past the Coffee Bean, it's a bakery on your right, near an Italian restaurant. It's about 3500 a bottle though.

Tom and Tom's coffee shops sell it too. Seems expensive though (4,000 KRW) is that normal?

they have spread into a lot of the ajussi marts spread across seoul. it sort of exploded after seeing it in a few magazines for a "fashionable/luxurious" way to hydrate yourself.

They actually just introduced it to the market here and now its sold all over. I have it in a small market in my building as well as at Emart and many convenience stores all over Itaewon.
