I just bought a Yamaha SG1000-24 from a little shop in Daegu. I'm looking for luthier's any where in Korea. It needs fret work and possible finger board replacement. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There's a dude in Insadong, at Nakwon Arcade on the 5th floor, office #520, who is a really good luthier.

I think his shop is called "The Guitar Man". He's a really helpful guy who speaks English pretty well.

He's also the only guy in the country certified to install the Feiten tuning system. I would definitely recommend getting your guitar modified with that. It's a nut and string saddle upgrade that means perfect intonation and tuning forever.

I got my stratocaster set up and tweaked by him, and I highly recommend him.

I've heard of Nakwon but not sure where to find it. I live near Daegu. What subway station is near? I might have to go sheck him out. Are his prices resonable?

Yeah his prices are pretty reasonable, but you're a long way from Seoul. Maybe you should just find a dude in your neck of the woods who can do it.

Anyway, Nakwon is near Jong-ro 3 Ga station, exit #4. It's a big grey building with a parking garage underneath. It has multiple floors, the dude's shop is on the 5th.
