I think Michael Moore has become such a force in film that no one can ignore him. Even FOX NEWS felt compelled to have him on.

I'm surprised to see this! Enjoy!

Oops! Sorry folks! I had the wrong link posted for part one. The problem has been fixed.

Question: Do you think Mr. Hannity really went to church as he said? Laughing
Micheal called him on it and he got caught with his pants down.

Good job Michael!

I just saw the movie and I think that Michael should have addressed the fact that he is getting very rich in the "evil" capitalistic society in which he operates.

That being said, the movie is excellent and he hit the nail right on the head.

People seem to dislike Michael Moore, but he seems to be ahead of his time. His opinions are unpopular when he first expresses them, then everyone seems to climb on board a few years later (ie GM, Bush, Health Care)

If you watch recent TV interviews, he makes it clear that he's not against capitalism, but the kind of capitalism we have today. People on Wall street, the banks, and the health insurance companies ripping people off.

He was making that point in the film by talking about his father's generation when the middle class had decent unionized jobs. Of course, since then GM and other companies have shut down factories, shipped jobs to cheaper countries and have busted unions to drive down wages at home.

In this film, he makes the same point by self-mocking when he speaks to his camera crew in Spanish telling a banker "They don't understand English."

Unlike the companies he criticizes, Michael Moore does make an honest dollar. He likes the capitalism of the 50's when the middle class shared in the riches.

The main reasons unions went by the wayside (except for the teamsters and such) is that they stopped representing the workers and got greedy for political power. And never forget that union busting occured under a democratic controlled congress.

I agree with your first point. The unions became corrupt.
But don't you think congress might have been bribed by big company lobbists?

Whether or not unions lost power because of corrupt or whether or not a Democratic-led congress approved or allowed union busting is irrelevant to the point that effective unions were valuable to enlarging and maintaining a strong middle class or that currently where there aren't strong and effective unions, you have middle class people in fear for their jobs, homes and access to health care.

I find it hard to believe any Stern interview could be "great." Did he ask to see Moore's breasts?
