Hey All,

Tonight at Ka Brew there will be a drinking contest. Come show everyone that you're not just an alcoholic...you're an amazing alcoholic!

P.s.
Mods: I think one of my posts was deleted yesterday. If you don't like me posting Ka Brew info here just tell me, otherwise many posters have enjoyed the info so far. Thanks.

I really enjoy hearing the information about upcomming Ka Brew events. Though I think having a drinking contest on a Wednesday is unconducive to a successful Thursday at work. Laughing

I went there last night, on a tuesday. My friends and I were the only ones in there. In my opinion, the atmosphere is like one of those cheesy places you rent to throw a kids birthday party. But the price is as advertised, 10,000 won for all you can drink beer. I think there were like 4 or 5 to choose from.

On a side note, they charge 5,000 won for a sausage meal and "snack". The sausage wasn't bad, a little spicy, and it's served with soggy fries and a cut up hot dog bun. The "snack" was dried bar food like seaweed pretzels or something.

Anyway, i drank for 4 hours for 10,000 won. Not really complaining, just telling it how it is.

Nice description, except it looks like a converted kimbap restaurant. If the decor was nice, I would never leave. But a drinking contest on a Wednesday? Are you kidding me, 40 dollars isn't worth it for being hungover at work all day.

I thought 10000 won for all you can drink beer was a good deal at first, but then I realized you'd pretty much have to be binge drinking on a weekday to get your money's worth. Maybe the beer is extra high quality and makes up for the price..

As for the decor... yikes. Something needs to be changed, seriously.
I was considering checking the place out until I saw pictures.

i tried maybe 3 or 4 of them. I don't remember them tasting bad, but not the best i've ever had. I didn't try the dark beer, but my friend said it was good. The house brew is kind of fruity, reminded me of hoegaarden. The pilsner is the basic light tasting beer, and the other i don't remember.

If I was in that part of town I'd probably go, but not for drinking games. 10K is pretty good for all you can drink beer if it's better than the usual K-Beer stuff.

Totes. When's the next beer pong? The 변대s need to be taught a lesson.

Also, the beer there is decent upper mid range stuff IMO.

Ahaha. The beer pong was a good time. I'll try to arrange another one early in November.
