I teach a small class of 3 boys; one is about 6th grade of elementary school, and the other 2 are 2nd grade of middle school. They're relatively well-behaved most of the time, but they definitely like to goof off when they can get away with it.
I'm at a Sisa school, so I've been using Exploring English 3 with them (they hate it, and I'm not too fond of the series, either.) Their level is quite high, and so I'm looking for some suggestions for a new book after we finish this one. I haven't taught many higher level kids, so I'm not sure what might work for them. I know I could probably use another adult book for them, but I think they would be much more interested in a high-level book for kids/teens. Any suggestions?

If they have essential grammar down (I don't mean the book), then I would use short stories, news articles, literature including poetry, and research stuff (if they are into it, but don't push it).
They don't really need a "textbook" by the sound of it. If they need help with grammar, it's better to deal with those issues one by one instead of making them trudge through another book. |

There's a good book called "Stange Stories in the News" that has bizzare news stories like the guy who by mistake put dishwashing soap on his salad. |

There are 5 levels to that series, so check through and find the level that you think is suitable for your students.
You can also try a series called, "Can you believe it?" Also in 3 levels. |
