Prominent Korean does a midnight runner -
not setting the best example to English teachers, experiencing the same in his country, is he?
Shin refuses to return to Turkish team
Shin Young-rok has reportedly left the Bursaspor football team of the Turkish Super League without the teams consent. The 22-year-old forward is currently staying in Korea.
A Turkish sports daily has reported that Shin is staying in Korea and refusing the teams request to return. It went on to clearly state Shin has no interest in returning to the club.
[...]
The club has not fulfilled its contractual agreement and therefore Shin has decided to take appropriate actions. Shin Young-rok reported to the club that he would declare for free agency on Oct. 9 and has returned to Korea, said Choi Nak-young of Football StarFactory, an agency representing Shin. |

True.
But that was not the point of my post.
The point was, next time your boss does not pay, just drop the name Shin Young-rok (easy to remember) and say how you think he did the right thing running back to Korea.
Oh hell, just drop this into conversation with everyone at work. |
