Would you be happy if they hooked up the phone / fixed the fridge / adjusted the thermostat ? (or got a new fridge )
The light falling seems like a once off freak event, so i wouldn't worry about that happening again.
Is the apartment otherwise acceptable....size, nice view, quiet, good location?
Arranging a new place would be the most time consuming for the boss, so maybe just fixing it up would be acceptable to him/her (and possibly you). |

Unfortunatly they've already put a huge sum of money down to house you. If they were to find you a new apartment they would have to put another huge sum of money. Just demand they fix everything and that the place is safe. |

What fishead said..
a fridge is probably written in your contract, so tell them to fix it, but house phones are not standard...if you need it, why don't you ask them to hook it up? |

schools own you once your here, but just get them to fix everything for you. If you told them about the light i imagine they're just as shocked as you. Make sure you embellish the story a little. |
