|
|
hi all, i'll be in seoul this coming weekend and am meeting a friend in itaewon around 8ish. however i arrive around 4 so instead of sitting round the hotel i thought i might head on down to itaewon a little earlier and have a few relaxing friday afternoon drinks.
where would be your places of choice? couple of decent drinks, a look at passers-by or even a few nice looking ladies or those finishin work early and having a drink....
recommendations please.

Gecko's balcony or the rooftop at Nashville. The balcony at Helio's will be quiet then at it's actually a pretty nice place when it's not filled with people grinding on each other |

i think seoul pub is a good place to go in the afternoon. the bartenders are always up for a chat and there are some pretty odd characters that wander in and out of there earlier in the day. |

Bonji is pretty good too, it's in the back alley behind Hamilton Hotel. The front is open so you can people watch, etc. |

good one. thanks. i know seoul pub and it's not bad from what i recall but a bit limiting for people watching. thanks for the tip though. ....bonji huh....sounds kind of fun. people watching in itaewon is the best bet if you can't find a place full of pretty ladies.
and on a casual friday afternoon that might be pushing it a little |

ballinseoul you're not wrong there.
but as i'll only have 2-3 hours i don't really wanna be doing the trial and error thing. if i lived in seoul it'd be the thing to do but as it's a one-night-only thing i hope to eliminate shite places here and get some solid recommendations before going |

Three Alley Pub is always good for a few pints. It's a little too chilly this time of year to be sitting outside. After you quaff a few, 3 Alley has some great food for good prices as well. |
