Scarlatti wrote some rocking, and at the time innovative, harpsichord tunes in the late Baroque:

One of my two useless degrees, alongside physics. The government loaned me $50'000 to satisfy my intellectual curiosity. Then expected me to pay them back working at a gas station.

The piano break on Layla always reminds me of the scene in Goodfellas where they find loads of dead mobsters.

Domenico Scarlatti... I'm about 10% through listening to his 600 or so of sonatas.
His andante movements soothes silences of my classrooms.

That was anti-music. I don't know who she is - she's clearly virtuousic - but if you want harpsichord you should listen to Koopman instead.
