I know where E-mart/Lotte Mart is, and that whole area, but I am thinking of xmas shopping for the folks back home, and a sweater from Uniqlo isn't gonna cut it.
Are there neighborhoods, shops outside of this area that sell more traditional gifts? I don't know Changwon at all...just this one intersection and neighborhood.
Any direction would be helpful...THANKS!! |

unfortunately there seems to be a lack of good gifts here. best bet is to have a look in the alpha store in sangnam dong buts its typical mass produced tacky stuff.
if you can, take a trip up to insadong in seoul. Lots of tacky shite there but some decent stuff aswell. there is a store downstairs from the canberra hotel but, again, mass produced stuff. It does make a decent gift mind. Most folks back home won't tell the difference. |

At the Canberra hotel in Jungang dong near Obriens and IP. Sort of inbetween.
It's on the first floor just, walk in and take a left and you'll see it a little up the hallway.
It's about the only traditional gift shop I know of in Changwon. |
