Now that I have become a geezer (50+), I've decided it is time for one of these marvelous inventions. Anybody know where I can find one (or something similar) - new OR used? I am 6'4" and 200 pounds, by the way, so none of those small Korean recliners, please.

I've never seen them in Korea, but it's possible they exist. Get a Korean friend to check Naver.com for you, fastest way to find out.

Eung-Am E-Mart has A couple recliners theyre pretty seasonal though. They just knocked the price down on a leather recliner to 298,000 won, and im seriously considering buying it first time I sat down in it in E-mart, I fell asleep. But the question is..........
Where do I put it in my villa =(.........????????????????

I can confirm the Lotte Dept. store in Jasmil have genuine US La-z-boy recliners (8th Floor if I remember right). They have about 6 in the store ranging from 1.5-2.4 mil. I bought the Gibson model for 1.8 (on sale and bartered from 2.2) Not cheap, but definately worth it for my size (6'3", 210lb). Plus they have a 10 year reclining system warranty and 3 year warranty for everything else.

I purchased a Berkline model barely a month ago. After having it here, I've come to the conclusion that (along with our couch) it just takes up too much space. It also doesn't match my couch as well as I'd hoped. It has a handle on the side for moving the footpad up and down. Dark brown leather (looks darker than this photo in the room -- bright flash).

New it's 700,000. I'll sell it for 550,000, but you've got to come get it.

They sell Ekornes Stressless at Galleria Department store (in Daejeon). Very good Norwegian chairs, although a bit pricey. I think they sold for around 1.3 million

I think Lazy Boy chairs in the US are expensive too. The brand name ones anyways.

My friend's dad had one that was HUGE. 2 People could sit in it comforably. I remember sitting down on it, and you literally sank in and it felt like you were sitting on a fluffy cloud. The armrest flipped open with a universal remote/command center on one side, and the other side has drink/food holders. The best part was the concealed eating tray and folded out. It had vibration, motor assist foot rest, and a 1 touch motor assist recline.

That chair was easily worth over $3000.

Hey RT,

I read an old post about you being a US Notary Public.

Can you meet me in Seoul to notarize one form for me? It would be fast, and I'll pay you of course.

Please contact me asap. Thanks

Bryan

I was in the Hyundai department store at COEX and they had them there too, oddly enough not in the showroom but near the Customer Service desk on the top floor. La-Z-Boy. Expensive, but really comfortable.
