Yesssss! The dates can be often wrong because the source doesn't give the initial print for older albums correctly, in many cases I look it up in the "comments" text. Genre is another issue, I don't need 12 different types of Jazz or 20 types of Rock. The next best feature is the ability to rearrange the files in folder/filename structures to create a useful directory system on the drive.
I only wish there was a resize function for the album covers. I don't really need a 4 MB BMP cover for a similar sized MP3. Although with the internet speeds in Korea and falling hard disk prices, FLAC is an attractive format now too.
I forgot to mention that MM can be used instead of iTunes to manage an iPod/iPhone without synchronising, although that function usually breaks with each iTunes update. |

I'm not a big fan of iTunes but I like the iTunes Store. They have some rare and obscure records there which I couldn't find anywhere. Unfortunately due to regional protection, I must buy from the European store where (like Microsoft) they use a 1:1 exchange rate, i.e. instead of 0.99 US$ I get charged 0.99 Euro for a song |
