The G11 is not available in Korea yet.  Couple more weeks according to the salesman I talked to last Sunday. Almost got the 50D...what are you/did you move on to? |

I got the Lumix LX-3. It is smaller than the G10 but comparative in photo quality.
Is the G11 that much of an upgrade? Haven't looked into it yet. |

Some new features - gains a tilt and swivel LCD, though the size drops to 2.8 inches. Don't know how good that is, and don't know if the screen resolution is any better.
Megapixels 10 - I guess they did this because of the following:
The G11 is equipped to deal with any light condition. Low Light mode enables photographers to shoot up to ISO 12,800 in reduced 2.5MP resolution at 2.4fps capturing brilliant shots indoors without the need for a flash, whilst a built-in Neutral Density (ND) filter decreases light levels by 3 stops allowing creative control in bright conditions. |
