Currently have Show KTF under a friends name. Need to purchase one in my name.

From what I hear LG Telecom is the easiest for Foreigners to get.

Where can I get the best deal on a Cell Phone?

The actual company owned store or one of those stores that sells phones from every company.

Also is the Iphone ever coming out?

Sometimes they will give you a phone for free if you sign up with them. Not sure if this will apply to foreigners though.

The Iphone will come out when Korean companies have developed a similar phone.

The Global Centre can help you out with phones. They have some good deals.

I signed up for an LG Telecom account and received a brand new, free phone with a 1 year contract. It beats the hell out of those junky used ones in Yongsan.

All I needed was an ARC and a bank card.

The four other foreigners and I who went out to get phones would beg to differ. Free phonez 4 lyfe. Signed up for 2-year contracts with SK and the cancellation fee after a year comes out to a modest 65,000 won.
