Why?

I like the live boxing on RTE that you can get worldwide (except for China of course!)

Are you a fan of the soap 'fair city' ?

What would you call someone, using the suffix -phile, for someone who has an interest or admiration for Irish culture? I know with France it's Francophile/Gallophile...Is there such a word?

I don't think there is actually - we would have heard about it by now - a lot of people love the kelly green...

So whats your favourite show? Late late show? (I don't think Gay Byrne hosts it anymore) Fair City? Do they still show Glencoe?

I know it is Wales - but try for S4C because it is quite similar programming and a lot of the programmes are in Welsh (with English subtitles) I love Pobol Y Cwm one of the best and longest running British soap operas.

Sadly, I have never been to Ireland, but I think my Joyce studies will being me there soon. I was actually thinking about a PhD from Trinity in Joyce studies. It's a dream of mine to go to Dublin. Also, my future brother-in-law is from Donegal, and apparently his 90 year old father lives in Dublin and is a fiddle legend in the pubs there!

Love Dublin. Great theater for cheap. Great bars with great music. It is no accident they have won more Eurovision contests than anyone else.
By the way, if you sing in the bars around Trinity they will throw you out. No warnings, no second chances.
