|
|
An actual license plate as opposed to a license-plate with only the Korean flag on it. My uncle collects plates of places he's visited (to each his own).
Anyway - he actually fought in the Korean war and would very much like a plate from here. None of my Korean friends seem to know where, or if it's even possible legally.
Thanks

I'm also not sure if it's legally possible, but you might try a car scrap yard (폐차장). |

I too am looking for Korean license plates. I don't want the new white ones, but the green ones with the name of the province on it.
Apparently, plates stay with the car, even if sold to another owner within the same province. Not sure what they do with the plates when sold out of province. Maybe just steal them, and let the owner of that car worry about what to do. Or by a junk and take the plates off of it. |

Wow, I didn't know replies could become deleted without a trace on this site!
So, indeed - don't reply suggesting any theft (which is an obvious idea anyway if one is so disposed). |

Correct bbb0777, the next person that leaves a post about stealing a plate will face sanctions from the ModTeam.
It is against the TOS to encourage, suggest, or discuss illegal activities on Dave's ESL Cafe.
It is also against the rules to question Mod actions on the forums: http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=168086 |
