Are labor board proceedings and documents provided in both languages?

If not as a follow up, is a translator provided?

I've been asked these questions and I don't have any experience with dealing with the Labor Board here. I'm hoping some of the members here with experience can answer them.

Thanks.

The labor board hearings will have you and your employer giving your respective stories and presenting your evidence. Mine was conducted completely in korean and all forms were in korean.

Even if translation service is provided at a labor board hearing (I dont think it is since it wasnt for mine), it's always a better a idea to take a friend that you trust to do the translation.

Can't speak as to anyone else's experiences but in the two cases I was involved in (on behalf of a friend) the forms were all in Korean.

I agree with the above poster's point of taking along a Korean friend. Even if you are fluent, it seems to help.

Then again, these are only my personal experiences so take that for what's it's worth.
