I am also a strange mis of intro and extro. Maybe it's being a gemini.

I am noot shy at all and am confident in public and ike hanging out in small exclusive groups of friends. But get me in a social group with around 10 or more and I hate it.

I;ve noticed 2 things about friends 'back home.'

1. Yes friends from High school they are stuck doing the same ol same ol and I find them dull and somewhat ignorant.

2. Uni friends appear not to have this problem. Even though they may never have eft the coountry, they all seem to remain pretty interesting and always excited by new things etc.

I know what you mean there.

Some people move on, and some people wonder where you went or why you didn't stay in one place. People can see the same places completely differently & you only know what you know.

I was once told "make good friends before you need them", which as far as tidbits of advice go, & overlooking the potential sinister warning side of it, I quite liked. Smile
