Will immigration tell me? I pulled as runner on my first job because of bad work conditions and got sick on my second job. My recruiter claims I can't return, but I don't trust a word out of her mouth.
I am getting a job in the states, but I'd hate to be banned from an entire country.

You'd better stay out, Kentucker4. You're lucky the NIS don't have juristiction in America, but if you ever step foot in Korea again, watch out! You don't think they're going to let you live after you've found out about their secret Bigfood Project, do you?
Okay, seriously: I doubt you're banned. Have you considered calling Immigration and asking them though? They'd know better than any of us. |

Weren't you blacklisted for resting a corndog on a Buddha statue? That definitely merits being banned from Korea. |

Have you thought about Saudi Arabia?
Aren't you married to a Korean woman? You can't be banned if you are on an F-4 or whatever it is called... |

Dude, counltess people have pulled a runner (including myself) and returned to work in Korea. As long as you've passed what would have been the original anniversary of your old contract your ok and immigration could care less. Get a new recruiter and if the new school wants to know or contact your previous employer tell them the hogwan went out of business (not exactly an implausible scenario). |

I think if you take a PS position here and fail to fulfill your contract any future application you make to another PS will be automatically rejected.
You could work for a hagwon alright. |
