I recently had a phone interview with this institution. Anyone worked for them and could possibly tell me what it was like there? Working conditions? Was it a good experience? Thanks ahead of time to those of you who respond. |

Thanks for the info. Especially the google search as I've been having trouble figuring out how to do a search on google
All kidding aside. I have actually seen that post on another site. But one person's experience isn't always representative of the entire situation. I worked at a hagwon where one of the teachers put them on a blacklist, they refused to give him a letter of release after he had worked there 3 weeks, where he stated that they were late with his salary and had turned off his power in his apartment which was completely ridiculous. Now, I am not saying that this person is lying, but I was wondering if anyone else has had troubles with this school. |

It was a site-specific google search. Many people actually dont know how to do that. Enter the search terms followed by "site:xxxxxxx.com"
Youre always going to find conflicting reports about any school. In the end, it's up to you to decide if you want to risk disregarding those reports. Sorry, I dont have any more specific info about the school. Have you tried getting names and contacts for current and former employees? Not providing that info is also a good sign that you should consider working elsewhere.

Check out the contract review by TheUrbanMyth part way down that page to see what youre going to be agreeing to if you sign with them. |

Still working on the contact info, just had the interview on Friday. Actually, I'm not even sure that I got the job yet! Anyway, thanks for your help. |

Ok. I read that contract on the link you provided. OMG! I have worked in Korea for 7 years. I would never sign that piece of garbage. |

So, CIS contacted me again for a face-to-face interview and I emailed them back about what I had read - Mr. Kim, etc. What do you know? No response. Their non-response speaks VOLUMES. They aren't even the same branch where the whole debacle took place, they could have just explained it away...but they didn't even try. |
