There's one right near the soedaemun prison.

Yeah come to think of it me and my friend raved about it afterwards... Really light but cripsy and tasty batter, wellcooked chicken, good saengmekkju....

There is one near konkuk university too. Definitely a franchise. They seem to be making their chicken spicier than usual, at least at this location. Good chicken though.

http://www.boor.co.kr/bbs/bbs/board.php?bo_table=branch_list&sca=&sca=서울특별시

that is the link to their website with the store list. No maps that I can see, but you could search for an area with the drop down menu and see if there is one there, then pop it in daum maps.

A tad of topic and a bit of a hijack, but I have helped out, soooo....

Last night I had these small things on skewers at a street stall where he was also selling the usual -takk gochi- chicken on a stick.

He had two varieties of these things I tried. They come from a chicken and are very dark red meat. They are small and there were two varieties. One very chewy and tough but yummy and the other was the same thing but soft and not as yummy. You get 3 sticks for 1,000 won.

What are they?

I think they must be chicken a'holes or bladders or something as when I asked him he made a chicken impression and then pointed to his gut...

Anyway, whatever they are - I LIKE EM!

I have a Boor Chicken only a 3 min walk from my apartment. This is in Daegu, by the way. Bliss.

Apparently, the guy who started the franchise worked for KFC for many years, then left to form his own company. I like it, and although it's cheap, you only get about half the portion of other chicken places, so it's not really that great of a deal

90% of the take-out chicken I eat is boor, I don' find it to be overly small. I pay 7500W for 1 portion of crispy chicken which is 2 breasts, 2 legs, 2 thighs and 2 wings.

a few times I've gotten delivery chicken. Depending on the place anywhere from 11000-15000W, and I certainly wouldn't say any of those places give twice as much. They tend to give smaller pieces, and sometimes include a few more parts of the chicken (like the neck) but boor gives you most of the chicken.
