i work for a public school, approx 70,000 is taken from my wages every month for pension.
will i get this on returning to ireland into my bank acc?
or does it go to a pension fund or something?
any info appreciated!

Countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, and South Africa have not signed any agreement. Therefore citizens from these countries cannot claim any refund or reciprocal payments after paying Korean Pension tax.

I think you're money does stay in the pension fund though, so there's a chance of getting it somewhere down the line

sure, if you work in korea long enough to qualify for benefits and then decide to retire here, you can receive payments.
