Article here.
This isn't the first time I've heard about this fellow. The short of it is that he keeps having sex with the same horse. He got in some legal trouble over it a few years back, and evidently felt compelled to begin again after 2 years despite the law intervening previously.
The fact that he keeps coming back to the same horse makes me feel like he's got some sort of mental issues rather than simply being an animal abuser. It seems like he needs serious mental help, not jail time. |

Ok, for starters, why is buggery still illegal in whatever-ville usa?
Secondly, no gender specific pronouns were used to refer to the horse. I am therefore wondering who was the pitcher and who was the catcher.
Thirdly, what a jerk. |

I tend to not believe stories written in such a slipshod manner. The term 'buggery' is used to refer to an act between people. I'm pretty sure that a horse isn't a person. |

Well, according to Wikipedia...
Quote: |
Under most common law legal systems, the term buggery refers to a criminal offence and has a specific legal meaning. In English law, "buggery" was first used in the Buggery Act 1533, while Section 61 of the Offences against the Person Act 1861, entitled "Sodomy and Bestiality", defined punishments for "the abominable Crime of Buggery, committed either with Mankind or with any Animal". Neither Act defined what constituted buggery. Over the years the courts have defined buggery as including either:
1. anal intercourse by a man with a man or woman,[1] or
2. vaginal intercourse by either a man or a woman with an animal,[2]
but not any other form of "unnatural intercourse".[3][4] |
And the page cites actual legal cases where the term was used as such. So, are you sure your complaint on this account is valid?
This isn't the first article I've read about this case either. I remember one a while back about when the woman caught him. |

I wonder how the lads in Prison will take to his crime...will he be treated like other sex offenders or will he be in a category all by himself? |

I'm sure, much like the supervillains incarcerated at Arkham Asylum, this man will be feared and respected by lesser inmates. |

What amazes me is that this guy makes international press, but hardly anyone has heard of the racist vigilantes that killed several black men in New Orleans as they were trying to reach dry land after Katrina.
I guess whatever sells.
I do feel sorry for the horse. |

I don't know. If anything, it seems he has an excessively stable mental condition. |

This is easily the best thread for puns and witticisms since the "I swallowed a bone" thread. Nice Fox.
In all seriousness, it should be blindingly obvious that this guy belongs in a psych ward, not prison. |
