I'm not going to be there but I don't think anyone would treat you like that. If I *were* going to be there, I'd definitely not treat you in that way, no matter how skewed your views on art are. Wink

And that is a joke. Very Happy

Your rightful place is with the boys hun, and I'm not saying you're butch, just that's where you belong. Come out for the night with me and Itaewonguy and you'll not only totally welcomed but you'll have a much better time!

I know a lot of those girls and they'll be talking about knitting and tampons ... Wink

Come on- I'm the one who conspicuously hangs out with all the guys at the mixed group get togethers. If I can do it, you can.

Mixed group get-togethers? Sounds like something out of the 1950s. LOL

Oh come on, before the liquor starts flowing those things are like junior high dances- girls gossiping on one side of the room, guys looking over nervously from the other side. Laughing

Corporal, (and any other girl thinking the same thing as Corporal), I thought it might be like that, too... Maybe a whole bunch of beautiful, blonde girls that were snobby. (This is how it was in my high school.) I was happy to find that it wasn't like that at all. There were some ladies in their 30's and several of us are married. After the initial hellos and small talk, it was a lot more comfortable.

So...if you feel like coming, please do. Oh, and if you come you have to try several different Thai dishes! (the food, not the plates) Very Happy

There have never been any real catfights on the board- much to the guys dismay, I'm sure Wink C'mon, if you don't like us you can always flame us here anyway.

A related question, I'm into the idea of sharing dishes, cause I've never had good Thai food (not popular in my neck of the woods unfortunately) How veggie friendly is it?

Would also like to join!

I am also into sharing food, hate it when I go home and have to eat a whole plate of the same food by myself in a restaurant! Much nicer to share and taste lots of different dishes!

This cracked me up. Are you perpetuating the western women stereotype? Laughing

Corporal - I would love you to come. I have been wanting to meet you for ages. Wear your army boots, or your cat suit if you want.

Ody - don't forget your "project".
