does anyone out there know how much an interpreter gets per hour, a full day?

I think that question is too hard to answer because it depends on the company. You would be more likely to go from Korean to English if you are a native speaker of English because that is where the fine tuning is needed. However, there are so many bilingual people here, that the price probably is not high.

If it's any indication of the job market, they prefer young ladies. This probably indicates a lower paying job. Document translation can pay well but you need highly technical language abilities and a good knowledge of Chines characters to make the real money.
