Just a warning for anybody wanting to get in some snowboarding before the season actually starts...both are closed down. Last weekend we went to Busan to Snow castle and there was a barricade blocking the driveway. This weekend we went to Tiger World, and there were about 30 police around broken glass and chained doors. The CEO said that new owners bought the company and was refusing to let employees or guests into the facility. He said that the dispute would most likely be in courts for a while. Talk about bad luck!!

I was at the starbucks near the tiger world in bucheon the other day and there were protesters/police out there, too. I wondered what was going on.

Wow, That is really creepy! If they would have had that up Friday I would have saved myself the 4 hour bus ride and 1 hour subway ride. The trip is bad enough without any luggage, but carrying around snowboard bags is just torture!

Asked my co-teach about it.
She says that the parent company, 웅진, is going to shut them down. Rolling Eyes

Assuming it re-opens at some point in the future...

Is it worth going to? I'd thought about going for the novelty of it, but is it actually fun?

I don't know. I was kind of like you and I just wanted to check it out for something to do. I also wanted to see how crowded the indoor slope was compared to the mountains during ski season.
