Now that dominoes has an English website, I need a credit card. Problem is, I've got no idea how that works in Korea. Do you like, just go to the bank, and say "Mastercard Jew say oh"?

If you work for a public school or a Uni you can contact Samsung and get a credit card through them. They will contact your school confirm your employment and the card will be sent to you with in 1 week. Remember that the cards are different then America or Canada. These cards are use them all month and pay it off at the end of the next month. Sometimes you can spread large amounts over 3-4 months without any interest. I hope that this helps.

Cheers from Alaskaman

I'm pretty sure it's up to 10 months. I have a Samsung and the process was pretty easy, although the ititial limit is low. There are a few threads on here about it. I think itis the only brand that issues cards to foreigners as I tried a few others also.

You should be able to get a credit card at your bank if you provide a statement from your school regarding your monthly wages. The bank will issue you a card with a limit equal to your monthly wage.

Your bank will usually set it up so that the card is automatically paid off every month from your current account.

Splendid. I shall pester my boss about this in a timely fashion.

Not British. Why do you ask?
