|
|
I have a few 70 minute discussion classes and after awhile doing these classes i am running out of resources fast. Most new sites are too difficult for children, and im haivng alot of trouble finding a site that has good articles for free...
What sites do you guys use??
(sorry if this is the wrong place for this post, i looked) |

I don't know what level your kids are, but I've always liked http://www.breakingnewsenglish.com/ for articles and post activities/discussion.
BTW, this should probably go in the Jobs-related forum, but whatever. |

thanks dude, thats quite good. The classes i teach are quite high level, some i would consider fluent (I teach a class of student who lived in Canada and America)...but yeah its hard to find article/sites that provide resources for discussion. |

Voice of America broadcasts are also useful:
http://www.voanews.com/english/webcasts.cfm
Special English broadcasts from VOA use simplified English, and the broadcasters speak slowly and clearly while somehow sounding rather natural. |
