I got this in my email today. He knew my real name which is a bit scary.

I need your updated resume for me to discuss more about you with my family and also talk to your references. Applicant Must be willing to relocate.

I got the same email when I was living in the States. I signed up for some ESL recruiting sites and thats where I think they got my info. There were also some Craigslist job offers that were similar. Total bunk i'm sure.

I've seen this one too. I'm not sure what the catch is exactly.
Probably just the old bait and switch.

"I appreciate your interest but the position has been filled, HOWEVER, I know someone else who has seen your resume and..." Rolling Eyes

The thing is I haven't sent out a resume to a job site in a couple years, where did they find my email?

I don't think that's the catch...

It's probably the "must be willing to relocate" bit. They'll probably recommend some specific, crooked, non-existent travel agency, or just flat out ask for the money to buy you a plane ticket then bow out.

Yep, or it seems for vaccination payments as well.

I can't believe people are falling for this even after reading about it being a scam.
