I think they forgot to mention that male only flight attendants.
It would be a dream job if they paid well enough with many perks. |

No for the same reason the vast majority of successful, male ballet dancers and choreographers are gay - I just wouldn't be able to concentrate on teaching. It would be a hell of a way to get fired though....

It's the same as nude beaches. I hope no one will ruin my fantasy with pesky reality about what the job is really like! |

You just conjured up a memory of Heinz & Golda Clutchshifter... direct from Munich to Patong beach, Phuket. Him - 300 lbs. of lipids hiding his 'package' (until he sat down); and, her - nipples banging into her illium with every step. Ewwwwwwwwww! |

When I fly Korean Air or Asiana they try to warn me about the gochujang and wouldn't even give me a second tube. They also try to turn off my beer after six cans and I have to call the duty manager to get it reinstated.
They hardly strike me as footloose and fancyfree. More like they feel that they are somehow embassadors with all the prissiness that that can entail.
Discounted tickets would be a plus, sure. But we're only talking 15 days in a year off. Handy for jaunts around Asia and one post-contract? How would that work anyways-would it have to be on flights that hadn't sold out?
BTW-there's a heap of books focussing on Airline English in the major bookstores. |

One of my ex-girlfriends, who is Japanese, used to work for Asiana. In my opinion, she was quite beautiful. |

No, twenty years ago, she would have been studying in elementary school. Anyways, she got sick of Korea and quit the job 2 and half years ago. |

Nothing wrong with ajummas. They will get drunk with you and then carry you home!
There was a stewardess hogwan in Busan some years ago which I was tempted to apply to once. At the time a few Dave's posters indicated that the school treated teachers shabbily, as of course they were never short of male applicants.
Again, it will make me feel better about my job if I can have some schadenfreude about how poorly the last teachers were treated and not hear about hot stewardesses wanting 'privates.' It's the setup for an adult movie, I tell you. It just needs a policeman complaining about the noise or a pizza delivery guy. |
