Hopefully. Push them over to one channel. It usually happens with extremists, marginalised and radicalised i.e. Fox 'news'.

Lou Dobbs has done some good stories. I esp. like his story on the North American Union.

Free Trade! Except Mexico! ...and anyone who wants good highways! ... or non-existant highways!

This clip should be shown to politics/media students to show how silly U.S. news can be. Did you see the first person they interviewed? He's from the 'Independent Drivers Association' - he thinks it's scary from a safety standpoint to allow Mexican drivers... mostly because of security... ha!

It's not about saying the same thing - it's about reporting news. News is a compilation of facts, not opinion or conjecture. News is reportage of things that have actually happened, not what may happen because of something. Dobbs loved providing his own slant... his own view on why Mexican truck drivers driving within the U.S. was a bad thing. In reality this creates unwarranted xenophobia and racism.

He didn't report news - he reported his own bigoted views.

It is exactly about saying the same thing. Any dissent from a very narrow spectrum of opinion is completely unforgivable. You all are emotionally unable to handle it. The TV news channels are opinion mediums. Final. If you prefer the opinion of MSNBC, fine. But stop crying about Fox. It's bloody annoying.

This is where I realize I'm speaking with ideologue and move on. Mexicans aren't a "race", though La Raza would like to pretend they are. Everything has to be about "racism" etc to you people.

I think anti-racist is actually quite a wide spectrum.

In America they are... in the rest of the world they're called news for a reason.

I prefer news, I whine about Fox representing news - they're lying... it's bad for uneducated people, they believe it and they act on it.... it's unfair to them.

Wat?

Goddamn. Ignorant Euros.

I just got back from Mexico, actually. Spent a day and a half in the DF. I saw Indians, whites and even a few blacks. All of whom were Mexicans. Because Mexico is a country. And in the country called Mexico there are people from different races. Because Mexico is a multiracial country.

But Euros will discuss Mexico only knowing Mexico from scenes of Mexican Indigenous running the Arizona desert marathon. So these ignorant people then think all Mexicans are that.

No, it isn't. It is "what we leftists don't like". That is it. Any dissent on any subject is "racist".

What the hell do you know? How do you know? You're assuming because you've had a boogieman inserted into your brain. Do you speak hundreds of languages? Have you done a careful study of "the rest of the world"? God damn dude. You're embarrassing yourself.

I know you think you're being funny, like those smug liberal comedy shows you watch, but you really don't pull it off at all. Just letting you know.

You're not even American. Obviously you care nothing about American sovereignty (or Canadian, or Mexican for that matter). Your "opinion" is utterly worthless.

You think I'm ignorant for pointing out Dobbs' xenophobia and, yes, racism. He's not referring to white Mexicans or Indian Mexicans... he is quite patently referring to Mexican looking Mexicans. He isn't interested in protecting American trade - he's interested in keeping out Mexican drivers because of 'safety issues'... they may be driving a bomb into the middle of the country!

Can't you read the subtext? When was the last Mexican terrorist attack?

No, it isn't.

Wait, you think most people are racist?

I know you like being a paranoid/delusional Conservative... you pull it off very well.

Ha! Good point... Someone's view who isn't involved is worthless..... oh dear.

That's not the issue. The issue is sovereignty. Lou Dobbs does a story on the global elite destroying our borders without our knowing or authorization, and he's a "racist xenophobe"? What will you think of next? Rolling Eyes
