I've been reading, it looks like you can lose about 2 pounds a day with this.
If you've wondered how movie stars can lose so much weight for roles then a lot of them have used the Master Cleanse.
Basically, you are on a liquid diet for X number of days. |

I've read good and bad things about it. For me, the bad outweighed the good and I decided not to try it myself. I think the biggest deterrent was the effect if could have on your metabolism. Not quite worth it for a few pounds here and there. Also, a family member of mine who happens to be a naturopath strongly advised against any sort of medically unsupervised cleanse. |

Did it a few years ago. I was very unhealthy lots of inflamation in my joints, bad skin, low energy etc... Inflamation really decreased most skin stuff cleared up, had alot of energy. It's tough. I think the grade B syrup would be hard to find in Korea. Grae B is no the same as the stuff you put on pancakes either! |

i have done something similiar. imho, it is nice spiritual type thing to do on occassion: after those first 3 days, you feel so clear headed, uncluttered, etc, but it's not for weight loss. every lb you lose with the master cleanse, you eventually gain back. |

Yea you will gain most of what you lose because alot of what you lose is water. This would definatley get you ready to start a diet and exercise program that would actually get you on the road to a better you.
Don't try to do any serious exercise while on the Master Cleanse. |

Yes, famine is one way to lose weight.
Seriously, my sister-in-law used to swear by it, but not for losing weight--just purifying the system. I personally think it's a bunch of hooey, but knock yourself out. |

I did it this summer, lasted 6 days, the headaches and diarrhea finally got to me. The full 10 day+ fast is not for the feint of heart! |
