Well, when we grew up and went to hakwan,
There were foriegn teachers,
Who would try to make us speak English any way they could,
Listen and repeat,
Look and say,
fun and fancy yongo games,
However much despised by the kids.

But in the class it was well known,
When they turned left or right,
We would thrust our fingers into their fat butts
And imagine they were knives!

We don't need no edutainment
No more hangman, no more bingo
No 'Go Go's English' in the classroom.
You couldn't get a job back home
Hey, Teacher, When you go back home?!

All in all you're just the burger guy from the mall.
All in all you're just the burger guy from the mall.

We don't need no edutainment
No 'Magic time' and no 'Let's Go'
No speak the English in the classroom.
Before you come to Korea, leave your pride at home
Hey, Teacher, you couldn't get a job back home!

All in all you're just a burger flipper from the mall
All in all you're just a burger flipper from the mall

If you don't speak the English, you can't have any sticker!
How can you have any stickers if you don't speak the English?!
You! Yes! You under the table! Stand still, Min Soo!

About your vacation
We are so worried about the Flu
Please take out advice
We also have a camp
So you can't go to Thailand
Chant( Cheju do Cheju do Cheju do)

Please try to Understand our situation
We don't need you anymore.
The students say you are boring

"Take me Out to the Ballgame"

Take me in to the Englishee
Take me in to the class.
Give me some peanuts and Candy bars,
I don't care if I never speak up.
Let me boo, boo, boo the monkey,
if he don't dance, it's bore.
For it's one, two, ... SAM! You fail!
At the Englishee class.

Where the sun is always out and they never get old
and the champagne always cold
and the music is always good

How many roads must a foreigner walk down
Before you call him just a man?
How many years must a white dude stay
Before he has a place in the land?
How many times must the angry words fly
Before they begin to understand?
The answer, my friend, I guess that all depends.
The answer I guess it all depends.

How many years can this shallowness exist
Before it is rare to you and me?
How many years can the anger exist
Before it is part of history?
How many times can a man spew hatred,
Be his name Kim, Park or Lee?
The answer, my friend, I guess that all depends.
The answer I guess it all depends.

Hell's Ditch by the Pogues wouldn't really need any changes...

...or maybe "Poor Paddy"

In nineteen hundred and ninety-one
The corduroy breeches I put on
Me corduroy breeches I put on
I was workin in the hagwon, the hagwon
I'm weary of the hagwon
Poor paddy works on the hagwon

In nineteen hundred and ninety-two
From Kimpo I moved to Gangnam-gu
Found myself a better job to do
A working in the hagwon

No lyrics change necessary. Laughing

Well I don't know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain't right,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you.

No, this is MO:

The hagwons get richer
The students get the picture
The teachers never hit you when you're down so low

Seoul has got pollution
Gwangju, revolution
There must be some solution but I just don't know

The VP's want decisions
The CT's need ambitions
There won't be an E2 visa when they move so slow

Nothing ever happens
Nothing ever matters
No one ever tells me so what am I to know

You wouldn't read about it
Read about it
Just another incredible scene
There's no doubt about it...

Another little flare up
The Norks again in 'Yonhap'
Imagine any mix up and the lot would go...

I don't drink soju I take tea my dear
Go up the escelator on one side
Why do you have to bump into me when I walk
I'm an Englishman in Korea

See me walking on my way to school
5 kids shouting by my side
I get it everywhere I walk
I'm an Englishman in Korea

I'm an alien you think I am an alien
I'm an Englishman in Korea
I'm an alien I'm a legal alien
I'm an Englishman in Korea

If, "Manners maketh man" as The Kings of Chosun said
Then please don't spit on the subway
It takes a man to sleep in a room with a fan
Drive properly and give right of way

I'm an alien you act like I'm an alien
I'm an Englishman in New York
I'm an alien I'm a legal alien
I'm an Englishman in New York

Talking to a whitey can lead to notoriety
You could end up as the wangta one
Logic, sobriety are rare in this society
The students ram their fingers up my bum!

Takes more than Flower Style to make a man
All that gochu will give you cancer in your tum
Don't speak to English practicers, avoid them when you can
A gentleman will walk but never run (to get the free samgipsal samples at Homeplus)

If, "Manners maketh man" as Sejong said
Then then please don't scowl at me that way
It takes a man to eat bundeggi and smile
I'll elbow any adjumas that barge me out the way

I'm an alien you think that I'm an alien
I'm an Englishman in Korea
I'm an alien I'm a legal alien
I'm an Englishman in Korea

Laughing
