This is a bit of a "do my homework" thread, but might also be interesting for you. I have to make a mock-research paper to learn how to write papers. This is where I need your help. The topic can be anything you have been wondering about and doesn't have to be serious. I'll do some experiments or surveys to try to illuminate the problem. A Korea centric topic would be fine, but it doesn't have to be. The problems can be like this:

How does a man chose a suitable girlfriend?
How does soju hangovers compared to other hangovers?
How does ajummas queue compared to other people?

Or it can be myth buster style topics.

However, it has to be possible for me to finish the project in a 4 week time period. If you find any fun topics I'll report my results here later.

When you're making instant ramen: water is boiling;
is it better to put soup powder in before or after the noodle?

That's a very good question. Only problem is that it's so subjective and also hard to measure.

It could be subjective or objective, depending on what you mean by 'better'. If 'better' means 'better tasting', then yes, it is subjective. I assumed 'better' meant the powder would be distributed more evenly. I hate eating ramyeon and getting a clump of powder.

This thread is coincidental, because I just started a travel advice website about Asia/Korea. Maybe you could help me out?

If the question is phrased thus;
when do instant-ramen makers add the soup powder?:
1. when water is cold and there's no heat
2. when water is boiling and before the noodle
3. when water is boiling and after the noodle
4. noodle is cooked and the heat is off, add and stir;

would that make it an objective question?

When does hot become cold?

If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?

Is there another word for synonym?

If the police arrest a mime, do they tell him he has the right to remain silent?
