......leaving the country to go on a holiday or something?
Just got my E2 visa and it's a single entry. I asked the Consulate in London if i could get a multi but they just blanked me and that was that. Hmmmmm. So there must be a way to leave for trips and things, do i go to my local immigration in Korea or???? I haven't a clue? There must be a way? Hopefully.
Also, a random question about the actual visa stamp. Says issue date 6th Nov 09, thats fine but what is the final entry date. Thats 6th February 2010. I take it have HAVE to be in the country by that date and have registered???
THANKS! A boring topic i know, sorry. |

When you get to Korea you will have to go get your Alien Registration Card at the immigration office with your employer. When you go, ask if you can get a multiple re-entry permit put into your passport. It costs 50,000 Won and will last until your current visa expires.
You can also get a single re-entry permit for 30,000 Won at Incheon Airport's immigration office.
From what I've heard Americans are the only ones who get multiple re-entry visas. I'm a Canadian and I've always had single re-entry visas too. It sucks, but there's nothing you can do about it.
You guessed right about the final entry date. That is the date that you have to enter the country by. |

If the rules haven't changed then Brits can still apply online for a free multiple re-entry permit.

You need your ARC number to apply for it. |

Canadians can get multiple re-entries; I believe it was either 50 or 60k |
