I need an activity to do with a 30 min. Kindy class.

Anyone have a good idea? It can be a physical activity of some kind, but it'll be in the kids classroom, so not a whole lot of room to move around. It's really wide-open as to what can be done with this.

I'd really appreciate some help with ideas. Thanks.

Buy 10, 1 litre cans of different colours of oil-based enamel and have them decorate 'wacking sticks'. Wink

Take a look at Alex Case's Blog Post. Lots of ideas.

I'd also recommend the supersimplesongs player on EFL Classroom 2.0 or google for youtube. You might also go see him in Cheonan at the conference on the Thanksgiving conference on the 28th if you are teaching kindie. Devon has lots of ideas.

Have you taught these kids before? Do they know any English at all? Is this for an open day (insanely high expectations)? Is it a one-off or will you be teaching the same kids every day/week? Do you have plenty of resources available?

Give us a little more info. and I'm sure you'll get some great ideas.

Involve pictures. You can get them from ESL HQ for free. Big library there.
