Just a friendly heads up in case anyone is on the fence after buying world at war and being confused by korean menus. My Korean copy of MW2 is full English capable. Game is beautiful and BRUTAL. The airport scene was quite disturbing. Multiplayer is pretty laggy, need some folks near here to play with, get this and lets fight!

Yea, not all games are localized, especially text heavy games or games in which text isn't as important because it either cost too much or isn't worth the time. Fallout 3 was also never translated.

I just got it yesterday, I was getting WORKED until I got the red dot sights.

It's fun and addictive, besides the fact that it caters to campers.

I looked at the box yesterday and it said the menus were in Hangul. Is this not the case? Or does your box say English?

Just to wonder, does the NTSC-J version work on American xboxes?

Halo 3 ODST did, but listening to Brutes and Spartans talk to me in horrible Korean voice acting was a bit unsettling for me.

My 360 version does say the menu is in Hangul but it's all in english. Either it's a typo on the game or since I have my Korean Xbox system settings set to english it defaulted back to english.

Either way, it's been 100% english and 100% awesome. I've really enjoyed this game a lot.

Thanks Gnawbert!! My local games shop offered it to me for 45,000 yesterday and I said no because of the language!!! I'll have to go back...they'll probably assume that I went and studied hangul for 24 hours.

My version is NTSC-J and works on an American box, the text SAYS Hangul, but it's all in English; sweet as.
