I have been having a crappy life in my school, on our recent midterm:

I sat all morning in the college sick bay
Counting bells knelling classes to a close.
At two o'clock our neighbours drove me home.

In the porch I met my father crying -
He had always taken funerals in his stride -
And Big Jim Evans saying it was a hard blow.

And tell me they were 'sorry for my trouble'
Whispers informed strangers that I was the eldest,
Away at school, as my mother held my hand

In hers and coughed out angry tearless sighs.
At ten o'clock the ambulance arrived
With the corpse, stanched and bandaged by the nurses.

Next morning I went up into the room. Snowdrops
And candles soothed the bedside I saw him
For the first time in six weeks. Paler now,

Wearing a poppy bruise on his left temple.
He lay in a four foot box, as in his cot.
No gaudy scars, the bumper knocked him clear.

A four foot box, a foot for every year.

Cool Cool

Hardly lousy, but a bit too much routine lately. Do I get points for existential angst?

Tell ya what, 4 points for the ireland, for being irish, which deserves an extra point as his life must be lousy due to that fact alone.

1 point to dwaeji though I doubt he deserves it.

Looks like the ireland has this in the bag as this thread is surely too idiotic to get much competition.

I am back in my hometown where all the attractive men between the ages of 24 and 35 have married or moved, the population is shrinking, and I have been getting my kicks arguing with some dude on the internet about whether some women could take coyotes in a fight.
