I witnessed a fight in Itaewon last night. Nothing new. But, these are Chinese guys fighting white dudes.

The Chinese guys are from America/Canada. They step out of a cab and a group of 5 white guys start talking trash. There's a big fight. Nothing new in Itaewon.

What it made me think of was, how many fights in Korea between an asian guy and foreigners are really Koreans versus Foreigners?

I'm about 99% sure those white dudes in Itaewon who got in that fight last night are talking trash about Koreans or Gyopos as we speak, when in fact, they were Chinese.

I started a thread a couple months ago about a good fight i saw in itaewon on a saturday night. One white guy sucker punched this other white guy. The guy that got punched ended up nailing the 1st guy with 2 really hard shots then kicked him in the face after he went down. The guys girlfriend was all in tears trying to pull him off the road as the guy spit up blood. I still wonder what ever happened to that guy and if he learned his lesson about being a drunken fool and starting crap with unknown people.

So if you only "witnessed" the fight, how did you know they were Chinese gyopos and not Korean gyopos? Were they wearing their "My parents immigrated to the US from China and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" shirts? Did they call out to you and toss you their passports to hold on to while they fought?

Just curious. I'm not sure what the point of your post is, and it really doesn't quite add up to me. But quite frankly, I don't really care about brawls, be they among Korean, Chinese, Canadian, or any other nationality, in Itaewon or anywhere else. I'm just bored and wasting time on Dave's.

My guess is that he heard them speaking Chinese, or overheard their conversation prior to the fight.

So who won the fight? Just curious as I haven't seen many after coming to Korea, well not as much as back home in San Francisco.

is there some kind of rift between white North americans and gyopos? Why the conflict?

I thought there might be fights between locals and non locals but most of the fights I hear about is some roid money white guy and some asian guy dressed like he grew up in compton even those his parents are probably loaded Korean immigrants.

I was being subtle, what I meant to say was, I was hoping I could use you.... . That's what friends are for.... until we backstab each other and start a fight in Itaewon,

that's cool, but I'll need to round up some of my kyopo friends first, since I usually feel more comfortable letting other people do my fighting for me.

OP, you in? when's a good time for you to stroll past?

I talked to the guys after the fight. They were Chinese Canadians and Chinese Americans. They all worked together for some company in Beijing, thats how they knew each other.

They all came to Korea to get out of China for the weekend. I saw the beginning of the altercation. Those guys were getting out of the taxi and the white guys on the street just started trash talking them.

Granted, the Chinese guys could've jsut ignored it and walked away. But, when you get a big group of guys together, on the weekend in Itaewon, and some other group is trash talking you, fists are gonna fly.

first the white guys came out of top because it was like 5 on 3. The Chinese guys were meeting their friends in Itaewon. A squad car drove by and the fight broke up with the white guys running and the 3 chinese dudes figuring out what the hell happened.

About 15 minutes later the guys the Chinese dudes were meeting showed up, and they all talked abotu what happened. This is when I got in the conversation and got all the details about where they are from.

Funny thing because while we are talking, one of the white guys must've gotten hungry because we was at a food stall by himself. The Chinese guys recognized him, and pulled the guy into the alley.

After that, I don't know waht happened. I saw everything from the street and didn't want to follow them to the alley to see what 6 pissed off Chinese dudes would do to a single white guy.

I did hear them call the guy a "cake". Is what the Chinese call whites?
