through Thai Airways website i could get

450,000 won Busan-Bangkok for the month of December or the month of February but NOT January nor any period of time that goes through January. The winter rates outside of the month of Dec and Feb travel is 800,000-950,000 won through their website.

since i'm not working this winter i got flexibility, am looking for the best deal; february might be the best bet because 450,000 won for a month in the dead of winter seems like the wisest choice

am tempted to take their dec3rd-mar3rd 540,000 won Busan-Delhi

(would love to hear about other deals floating around too)

It's only $179 return Seoul-Bangkok in January or February thru JinAir but it's a 14-day maximum trip.

It's got to be tempting for those of you with a few days to spare near the lunar new year.

I haven't bought anything yet. My g/f is flying in from the states, and I looked into Thailand prices two weeks ago, but the cheapest tickets I found were 420,000 won round trip. Not bad, but the dates conflicted a bit, and it's too pricey for her since she already is spending the money to fly to Korea.

So I've heard that the ferry to Japan is pretty cheap. Anyone have some info about that? We really wanna check out Japan for New Years if possible.
