Seriously sarah... a script or an outline... something so that Pepperyan can focus in a video speech. Christ, even his friends must dread the unnecessary 8 minutes plus (standard) for a measly 3 minutes of info at best. You would think he would be improving in his delivery...

Question. Does anyone think he watches each one before posting? Would it be too difficult to watch and re-do for the sake of the viewers and save some face from all of the Speech 101 blunders that must have his college professor cringing?

P.S. Highdials... you have a propensity for the obvious. If it were possible to NOT watch these videos I would. But I have invested too much time and formed an opinion. It is now mandatory for me to watch and pray for some sort of improvement and growth out of this guy. A new sociological project in fact. Like politics, it is mandatory to keep informed and almost impossible to not feel passionate about the goings on one way or another... so have fun with your emoticons and useless retorts and editing of others work. (insert rolling eyes emoticon here)

Hey everyone. It's me again. Our boy gives us a shoutout by stating for the record that he does not hate Korea. He absolutely adores Korea and wants to have lots of babies with it. Not that he's over with the honeymoon phase or was in a honeymoon phase...cyeah. Kind of extreme. On the other hand...he seems to dislike things about Korea and we'll have to tune in for another update.

Now to get to the meat of the video. It's all about Ji min. His jook bringing, sweetest thang in the whole world girl. So, our boy came back from the wars in Jungangno Daegu and met up with fair Maid Marion...uhh I mean Ji Min. Cards on the table time. Fair maiden is giving Ryan some pretty mixed signals...cyeah. She wondered why Daejeon's most eligible bachelor is hers for the taking. Obviously, someone with money, good looks and something about them has to have a gf Smile

Ryan decides to play it cool with his soon-to-be girl and pretend that Pepero Day doesnt exist. He wanted there to be some drama and suspense before Fair Maiden realized what's in the Nike bag. Ji Min also had a bag for 1+1 day. They're going to do the K-drama style of "I like you but i want this episode to drag on and on". Ji Min is clearly losing patience with our boy until he whips off the covers and shows his Pepero love for fair maiden.

Next time: Ryan gets his Pepero out or does he?

What? No pepperos - that deal is once a year! Do you think its too late?

I think it is - I don't think he will get to white day to make up for this social and cultural faux pax if he keeps fannying about! Evil or Very Mad

Xunazang! Excellent commentary! Keep up the good work! This thread is nothing without your commentary.

"He absolutely adores Korea and wants to have lots of babies with it."

I laughed, I laughed and then I laughed some more.

I'm curious to see what happens when Ryan encounters his first overbearing, drunken ajeoshi. Or if he decides to slap Scott or Tony in the jjimjilbang shower and takes out a K-guy's eye with the crotch rag.

For those of you struggling with Ryan's delivery I've found the best thing is to have him as background noise. Put him on while you're folding laundry or making breakfast. Lowers expectations and you don't get impatient due to his rambling.

Nice one Daveyc18... wasn't talking about him improving his social life but you go girl! Never said Ryan doesn't have friends... they hit the nightclubs together and reel 'em in! What do you mean about my social life??? I thought dave's was THE site for interacting with bright, freshly educated, sometimes well seasoned minds of the socially superior... not to mention closet intellectuals. I come here for wisdom like the kind you bestoweth to all of us blessed by your wit and candor.

Or read other posts on Dave's while you listen. I find the only time I need a visual of him is at the beginning to eagerly see if he will bring back teh klaw.

You know that would be the best Ryan video EVER? If he filmed himself reading this thread and commenting on all our posts. I would PAY to see that!
