Does anyone know the best way to obtain an alternative copy of a diploma quickly? I don't want to send in the real thing. Is there a way to get a photo copy notarized or something of that nature?

Thanks.

I went to Staples and got full-size color photocopies. I brought the copies to the lawyer and he notarized them. I did bring the original along for the lawyer to see.

I think if you use a copy of your degree you have to get an apostille for it, same as your cbc.

You can just make a regular photocopy of the degree, then bring that along with the original to get it notarized. Some courier places do them, and so do banks too often for free if you are a customer. Then get an apostille on the notarized document.

That's what I did.
