|
|
I was in Dunkin Donuts today and decided I would ask how to get a Happy Point Card, so the woman gave me one and said I have to register on the internet.
So I went to www.happypointcard.com and using my limited knowledge of Korean clicked register, then it asks for my name and Resident number, but when I put those in, some box in Korean flashes up and I'm transported back to the main page. There doesn't seem to be a Way-gook option anywhere....
Anyone know a way around this? |

If you call the number on the card and ask for an english speaker they can enter your number manually. |

What in the world does a Happy Pointuh Carduh do anyway? They always ask me if I have one, and I think I do somewhere but I stopped carrying it in my wallet because it I wasn't getting any obvious discounts from it. |

Just phoned the number there and spoke to a women who had as much English as I have Korean (not much). However I think we managed to do it, so she said my card is now 'OK' to use.
As far as i'm aware, the HP card gives discounts at Paris Baguette, Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins and a few other places, plus I guess you must accumulate points every time you use it. God knows how you then redeem those points though! |

The original error was most likely that i didn't except ARC registration numbers...only Korean citizen ones. How they get redeemed (if it's anything like my SK TTL) is that discounts get added automatically once you show the card at the register, and if you have it set up - it will SMS you your "point balance". At least that's what it does for my SK TTL card. |
